Bachelor of Business Administration Bachelor of Law (B.B.A. L.L.B.)
B.B.A. L.L.B. (Hons) or Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law Honours is an undergraduate Administrative Law professional integrated course. The course is a combination of the study of Law and Business administration. B.B.A. L.L.B. (Hons.) provides an integrated understanding of the interrelationship of Management Studies and Law in their entirety than in specified areas. Law, it is a set of categorized rules and regulations under which any society or country is governed.
It develops students' analytical and research skills and equip them with the generic skills required for their careers both as Law practitioners and legal experts in industrial and business sectors. The students of Law are exposed to a wide range of disciplinary approaches to legal study and are encouraged to reflect on the complexity of legal practice and of the variety of ways of understanding Law's role in contemporary society in general and business enterprises in particular.
The students are provided with internship under NGO’s Trial and Appellate Advocates, Judiciary, Legal Regulatory Authorities, other Legal Functionaries, Market institutions, Law Firms, Companies, and Local Self Government. They are also facilitated with practical training through participation in Moot Court exercises, Legal Aid Clinic etc.
BA LLB is a five-year integrated programme, offered at the undergraduate level. Students aspiring to build a career in law can opt for this course, after passing 10+2 examination. Undergraduates in the field of law are imparted comprehensive knowledge about the Indian Pedal Code. Law undergraduates should complete compulsory internship at the end of the course, at various law firms. Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Law degree course provides myriad career opportunities. After doing the course, one can enter the field of law, and work as lawyer in the courts at different levels. Corporate lawyers are also in great demand, in the present time.
The uniqueness of the degree is that it includes both graduation and post graduation in a single course. Diverse aspects of tax law, civil law, administrative law, criminal law, etc are covered under the course. Though the course mainly concentrates in areas of law and legislature, it also includes the study of History, Sociology, Political Science, and so on. Apart from theoretical sessions, the practical skills of the candidate are enhanced through case studies, trail court drills, etc.
The candidates applying for the program should be Class XII passed or Higher Secondary Degree. The candidate should be an Indian National. Minimum age of applicants should be 17 years while maximum age limit is 22 years. The Candidates should have secured minimum 50% in Class XII or its equivalent. English should be one of the subjects studied in Class XII or its equivalent examination from a recognized board can apply for integrated course in law.
The selection of the candidates is offered through written test and interview. The exams are carried out on a national basis or by any reputed University. The test mainly measures the logical and reasoning skills of the candidate. Those who obtain relevant score in the test can apply for the course in recognized institutes that offers the same.
