Admission process for Narsee Monjee Mumbai

NMAT by GMAC: NMIMS Mumbai primarily accepts NMAT by GMAC scores for admission to its MBA programs. Here are the steps involved in the admission process:

NMAT Registration: You need to register and appear for the NMAT by GMAC exam. You can register for NMAT on the official NMAT website.

NMAT Exam: Take the NMAT by GMAC exam on the scheduled date. NMAT is a computer-based test that assesses your skills in language, quantitative aptitude, and logical reasoning.

How hard is it to get admission into Narsee Monjee?

Approximately 60,000 candidates appear for the NMAT (NMIMS Management Aptitude Test) annually. Out of this substantial number, only about 4% of test-takers receive a coveted interview call. Further narrowing down the selection process, approximately 600 individuals secure admission, encompassing both core and HR branches. This means that, statistically, merely around 1% of students who take the NMAT are successful in gaining admission to NMIMS (Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies). Getting into NMIMS is not that difficult but it’s not easy either. NMIMS Mumbai cutoff 2022 was 210-250. As it is the oldest campus the cutoff is high.

As for the recent trends in NMIMS admission cutoffs:

NMIMS Mumbai – The expected cutoff range typically falls between 207 and 210 marks.
NMIMS Navi Mumbai – Aspiring candidates usually aim for a score of around 190.
NMIMS Hyderabad & Bangalore – The competitive scores required for these campuses typically range around 195 marks.

Despite these seemingly daunting statistics, it’s crucial to emphasize that success in securing admission to NMIMS is entirely attainable with a well-structured and effective preparation strategy. It’s worth noting that the NMAT examination is often perceived as relatively more manageable when compared to other prominent management entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, SNAP, IIFT, and MICAT.
