About MA Economics at Christ University

The postgraduate course in Applied Economics at Christ University is the flagship programme of the department of economics with intensive specialisations in areas of finance and development. Application Process for MA Economics at Christ University

All applicants must visit the page: https://appstat.christuniversity.in and register by entering NAME (as printed on Class 10 Marks Card), EMAIL-ID, and set a password. (The email id and mobile number provided will be used for sending confirmation and application status-update messages). An applicant can apply for as many programmes using the same ID as long as the prescribed eligibility criteria for the specific programme is fulfilled.

Applicants must have the following documents prior to fill the application online:

a) Copy of statement of marks of Class 10, Class 12, and Degree Marks Cards (whichever is available years’/semesters marks card) (Mandatory).

b) Applicants applying For PGDIE Programme must have a Copy of statement of marks of Class 10, Class 12, Degree Marks Cards, BEd Marks Card and work experience letter (Joining Letter) if applying with work experience (Mandatory). Secure Christ University MA Economics Direct Admission right now!

c) Fill-in all the details in the “detailed application” page. Scan and upload a recent passport-size photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms formal dress with white background) and click “Submit”. On clicking Submit, a viewable and editable page will appear on the screen. In case you need to make any corrections; you may edit the data/details and then click “Confirm Submission”.

d) Make payment using the Card/UPI/Net Banking and after successful payment click on submit. A 9 (Nine) digit Application number will be generated. If unable to print the application form due to system/power/internet failure, log on to https://appstat.christuniversity.in, under the “Application Status” page enter the registered Email-ID and password to view and print the application form. (After payment if you do not receive the 9 (Nine) digit application number, then your application process is incomplete and payment will go in for the refund process. All candidates have to Upload all the qualification-related documents (Class 10, Class 12, and Undergraduate Degree Marks Card (if result awaited, marks card till the last semester/year)), in the given link on your application status login page under the document upload tab within five (5) days after submitting the application form online. Else your application will be rejected.

All applicants must take a print of the application form and keep it for reference, and make note of the username and password, application number, programme applied for, and selection process date for all further purposes.

The Important Dates section must be referred to prior to filling the application. Candidates must choose the selection process dates from available options while filling the application online.

No request for a change of date will be entertained.

It is required to have all the original marks cards (Class 10, Class 12, and Undergraduate Degree Marks Card (if result awaited, marks card till the last semester/year)) and a photo identity card for verification at any stage of the selection process.

Miscellaneous Information

The University does not collect any type of Capitation / Donation other than the fee mentioned in the website.

If the Application is incomplete or incorrect, the University Management has the right to reject it.

Kindly do not send any original marks cards through post or courier.

Ignorance of the Terms, Conditions, and guidelines will not be considered as an excuse for non-fulfillment of any stipulated process.

The University shall allot the seat to the selected MBA (Central/Kengeri) candidate in the Bangalore Central campus or Kengeri campus based on the availability of seats.

All selected candidates must note that admission is provisional and subject to University rules.

It is to be noted that though the fee is fixed for 2 years, there will be a periodic nominal increase to meet the rise in costs.

Fees should be paid within the stipulated date for the first year and before the commencement of final examinations of 2nd semester for the second year.

All those admitted to the programme will have to purchase a laptop at their own cost.

Admitted student who wish to avail Bank Loan will be provided a recommendation letter on request by presenting the original fee paid receipt to the Office of Admissions.

The decision of the Admission Committee is final and binding.
