What test security measures are in place for the GMAT exam?

Given the importance of delivering tests in a responsible manner, we have security measures in place during the registration and check-in processes, we continuously monitor test takers throughout the exam, and we conduct post-exam forensic analysis. These comprehensive measures help to ensure the validity and maintain the integrity of the GMAT exam. As new or improved security technology is introduced, we also leverage it (when appropriate) to look back at past exams and take action if warranted.

Security measures specific to the GMAT exam delivered at a test center include:

During the exam check-in process, a live proctor will perform an ID check to confirm that you have a valid ID that meets the GMAT ID Requirements AND that your ID matches the photo of the ID you uploaded during registration. You will not be permitted to start the exam if your ID is not validated.

The exam is delivered using proprietary software and check-in protocols (including a palm-vein scan) in a secure environment to ensure there are no disruptions that may compromise the test taking experience or the integrity of the exam results.

Live monitoring by human proctors throughout the exam is done via webcam and microphone. Any movement, noise or suspicious behavior is immediately flagged by the proctor, and they may pause the exam and intervene to ensure the exam is not compromised.
Additional post-exam forensic analysis is conducted to identify and act against test takers who have cheated on the exam.

You are authenticated via approved forms of valid ID and live check-in via a human proctor before starting the exam.

Testing Violations and Cheating

We care about you, our test takers, and we want to encourage you not engage with or fall victim to bad actors. Often, services and individuals purporting to help you attain high scores through improper means are scams that cheat and extort candidates out of their money.

There are serious real-world consequences to any attempt to cheat or circumvent security measures:

Sessions are recorded, and any issues are thoroughly reviewed by our security forensics team.

Scores are cancelled and schools are informed in any situations involving evidence of cheating and use of unfair means to earn a particular score.

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test Registration

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test is the test Conducted on annual basis by Symbiosis International University (SIU), Pune, Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is the mandatory entrance exam for MBA admission 2023 in Symbiosis institutes. SNAP 2022 score will be accepted for MBA admission 2023 by 15 Symbiosis Colleges affiliated to SIU. They do not accept CAT or XAT exam score. SNAP 2022 Exam dates are December 10, 18 and 23, 2022. The SNAP 2022 Registration process has started from August 4 and the last date to apply is November 24, 2022.

What is SNAP Exam?

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, popularly known as SNAP, is the MBA Entrance Exam for Admission to 15 Symbiosis Institutes in India. Every year around 1 lakh students from all disciplines including Engineering, Commerce, Humanities and even Law take SNAP Test to get into of the 2,500 MBA seats in Symbiosis colleges. SNAP 2022 will be the 6th computer based exam in the history of Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU) Pune. Earlier it was a paper based test.

SNAP full form is Symbiosis National Aptitude Online Test.

SNAP is the common, mandatory MBA entrance test for admission to the 15 Symbiosis Institutes affiliated to Symbiosis International University (SIU) Pune.
The list of SNAP score accepting colleges includes some of the top MBA colleges in the country like Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) Pune which is highly ranked among top management institutes in India and is ranked #20 in Govt of India, MHRD NIRF Ranking 2021-Management.Register for Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP)

SNAP score and percentile is used for MBA admission 2023 by all the SNAP score accepting Symbiosis MBA colleges including SIBM Pune, SCMHRD Pune, SIOM Nashik among others. SNAP 2022 Test City and Test date out of the 3 exam dates, are allotted on a first come first serve basis. The earlier you register and apply by making payment of SNAP registration fees, more are the chances to be allotted the preferred test city and test date of your choice. So, those who apply early for SNAP 2022 will have more benefit. The last date to apply for SNAP 2022 is November 24, 2022

All the 15 Symbiosis MBA colleges will release their individual shortlist one by one. Since 2020, Symbiosis International University is conducting SNAP exam on three different dates in December and January with changed pattern but for SNAP 2022, all the three dates of SNAP exam will be over in December 2022. SNAP 2022

A candidate aspiring to join a select Post Graduate (PG) programme of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) [SIU] will have to register and appear for Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test 2022. For more information, please visit www.snaptest.org

An Indian national / NRI candidate will have to apply through SNAP to seek admission to a select PG programme of SIU.

An NRI candidate (having graduated / graduating from a recognized University in India), after having applied through SNAP, has the option of consideration of her/his candidature as a national student or under the NRI category. In case an NRI candidate chooses to apply under the NRI category, s/he will have to further apply through Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE). However, a Foreign National / OCI / PIO / NRI candidate (having graduated / graduating from a recognized foreign University) is exempted from appearing for SNAP and has to apply through SCIE www.scie.ac.in. Register for Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP)

Prerequisite (in case a candidate is registering for SNAP on a desktop)

The candidate should be ready with a soft copy of her/his recent passport size colour photo (not more than three months old) in .jpg, .jpeg, .png or .gif formats, with a size between 10 KB to 5 MB to be uploaded to her/his registration form.

Click on ‘Register’.

Read all the Instructions carefully and then click on the ‘I Agree’ button to accept the Terms and Conditions.

Fill in the details requested on the page displayed.

Click on ‘Save & Continue’. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number and email id that you have entered.

Enter the ‘OTP’ and submit.

After successful registration, you will get an e-mail & SMS containing your SNAP ID and password. Use this SNAP ID for all communications regarding the online aptitude test / admission procedure.

Pay the SNAP test registration fee of INR 1,950/- per test Non Transferable and Non Refundable as per the instructions mentioned on the Registration Portal.

A candidate aspiring to join her/his desired M.B.A. programme(s) is required to complete the registration process of those programmes before the closing date of the same. Payment towards the programme registration fee must be made through the Registration Portal. After making the payment for SNAP Test registration fee, a candidate is required to make separate registration fee payment of INR 1,000/- (non- refundable and non-transferable) per programme per Institute at this stage.

A candidate is required to pay a Non Transferable and Non Refundable registration fee of INR 1950/-(government taxes would be additional as and when applicable) per test S/he has the option of following payment modes:

A candidate is required to submit a Demand Draft (DD) for Non Transferable and Non Refundable registration fee of INR1,950/- per test from any Nationalized Bank in favour of ‘Symbiosis Test Secretariat’ payable at Pune.

Choose the mode of Payment as ‘Demand Draft’ in ‘Make Payment’ Tab. Print the payment advice form, verify the details and the amount, get a DD from any Nationalized Bank, fill in the DD details, sign and send the Payment advice form along with the DD to the address mentioned below:

Eligibility Criteria For SIBM Pune

Candidate should be a graduate from any recognised University / Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for SC / ST) at graduation level.
Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in the qualifying examination.

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test

It is the test Conducted on annual basis by Symbiosis International University (SIU), Pune, Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is the mandatory entrance exam for MBA admission 2023 in Symbiosis institutes. SNAP 2022 score will be accepted for MBA admission 2023 by 15 Symbiosis Colleges affiliated to SIU. They do not accept CAT or XAT exam score. SNAP 2022 Exam dates are December 10, 18 and 23, 2022. The SNAP 2022 Registration process has started from August 4 and the last date to apply is November 24, 2022.

What is SNAP Exam?

SNAP full form is Symbiosis National Aptitude Online Test.
SNAP is the common, mandatory MBA entrance test for admission to the 15 Symbiosis Institutes affiliated to Symbiosis International University (SIU) Pune.
The list of SNAP score accepting colleges includes some of the top MBA colleges in the country like Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) Pune which is highly ranked among top management institutes in India and is ranked #20 in Govt of India, MHRD NIRF Ranking 2021-Management. SNAP score and percentile is used for MBA admission 2023 by all the SNAP score accepting Symbiosis MBA colleges including SIBM Pune, SCMHRD Pune, SIOM Nashik among others. SNAP 2022 Test City and Test date out of the 3 exam dates, are allotted on a first come first serve basis. The earlier you register and apply by making payment of SNAP registration fees, more are the chances to be allotted the preferred test city and test date of your choice. SNAP Registration Instruction

An Indian national / NRI candidate will have to apply through SNAP to seek admission to a select PG programme of SIU.

Prerequisite (in case a candidate is registering for SNAP on a desktop)

Click on ‘Register’.
Read all the Instructions carefully and then click on the ‘I Agree’ button to accept the Terms and Conditions.
Fill in the details requested on the page displayed.
Click on ‘Save & Continue’. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number and email id that you have entered.
Enter the ‘OTP’ and submit.
After successful registration, you will get an e-mail & SMS containing your SNAP ID and password. Use this SNAP ID for all communications regarding the online aptitude test / admission procedure.
Pay the SNAP test registration fee of INR 1,950/- per test Non Transferable and Non Refundable as per the instructions mentioned on the Registration Portal.
A candidate aspiring to join her/his desired M.B.A. programme(s) is required to complete the registration process of those programmes before the closing date of the same. Payment towards the programme registration fee must be made through the Registration Portal. After making the payment for SNAP Test registration fee, a candidate is required to make separate registration fee payment of INR 1,000/- (non- refundable and non-transferable) per programme per Institute at this stage.
