Eligibility Criteria for BE CS at BITS Goa

There are two main requirements to be eligible for BE (Computer Science) at BITS Goa:

1. Entrance Exam:

You must appear for and score well in the BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Aptitude Test). This is a computer-based online test conducted by BITS Pilani for admission to all its campuses, including Goa.
The BITSAT is typically held in May each year, but for 2024, the dates haven’t been announced yet. Keep an eye on the official BITS Pilani website for updates: https://www.bitsadmission.com/
Minimum Qualifying Score: There is no official minimum qualifying score, but competition is fierce, and generally, you need a score in the top 1-2% to have a good chance of getting admission. Aim for a score above 400.

2. Academic Qualifications:

You must have passed the 12th class examination (or equivalent) from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) subjects.
Secure a minimum aggregate of 75% marks in PCM subjects in your 12th class exams, with at least 60% in each subject.
Only students appearing for the 12th class examination in 2024 or who passed the 12th class examination in 2023 are eligible to appear in the BITSAT-2024.

Steps to Fill BITSAT 2024 Application Form

Step 1: BITSAT 2024 Registration

Visit the official BITS Pilani Admission website: https://www.bitsadmission.com/

Click on the “New Registration” link.

Enter your basic details such as name, gender, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number.

Create a password for future login.

Click “Submit” to complete registration.

Note your registration number, login ID, and password that will be sent to your email and phone.

Step 2: Filling Out the BITSAT Application Form

Fill in the required details such as parents’ names, nationality, correspondence address, 12th standard exam details, and test center preferences.

Be sure to double-check all information for accuracy.

Step 3: Uploading Scanned Photograph and Signature (Text Instructions)

Please note: Uploading a scanned photograph and signature are mandatory requirements for application completion. Without them, your application will be rejected.

Prepare your files:

Photograph: Recent passport-size color photo with white background and clear facial features.

Signature: Sign on plain white paper with a black pen. Scan the signed sheet to create a digital image file.

Format and size:

Both photo and signature must be in JPEG or PNG format.

Photo: Maximum size 20 KB.

Signature: Maximum size 10 KB.

Resize if necessary: Use online tools or photo editing software to resize files without compromising quality.

Step 4: Submitting the Application

Review your application carefully.

Ensure all information is accurate and complete.

Click “Submit” to finalize your application.
