Symbiosis is an educational and cultural center of international standards established in 1971, under the patronage of Dr. S. B. Mujumdar, President & Founder Director. It is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950. SLS, Puna established in June 1977, was earlier affiliated to the University of Puna and later became a constituent of Symbosis International University in 2002, with an enhanced degree of autonomy in teaching, learning and research.

About B.B.A. L.L.B. Course
B.B.A. L.L.B. (Hons) or Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law Honours is an undergraduate Administrative Law professional integrated course. The course is a combination of the study of Law and Business administration. B.B.A. L.L.B. (Hons.) provides an integrated understanding of the interrelationship of Management Studies and Law in their entirety than in specified areas. Laaw, it is a set of categorized rules and regulations under which any society or country is governed.
By Honor’s it is meant that it is a Higher Academic Standard Course because it requires in-depth study subjects studied. It is ranked above the Simple, Pass, General or Ordinary Bachelors Course
BBA-LL.B. provides an integrated understanding of the inter relation of management studies and law in their entirety than in specified areas. Honors in Business Administration covers a vast domain of the contemporary areas of managerial relevance and provide the students an opportunity to focus on strategies to manage business in fast-evolving global environments, with a strong emphasis on entrepreneurship, the impact of technology on commerce, managing the emerging markets of Asia and other global issues.
Duration of Course
B.B.A. L.L.B. Integrated duration of the course shall be of five years comprising of 10 (ten) semesters. However, it is an integration of management and business subjects and laaw.

Ø B.B.A. L.L.B. covers management and business subjects along with laaw. However, the career opportunities for both these courses are same.
Ø If one wants to work with the management and business fields then BBA LLB will be more advantageous. These graduates will mainly opt for corporate laaw, mergers and acquisitions, etc. However, after any of these courses one can work in their area of interest.
Ø In B.B.A. L.L.B. the individual get specialized in corporate laaw, mergers and acquisitions.
Ø These graduates can work as lawyer, legal advisor, laaw reporter, legal assistant, etc depending on their skills and experience.
Eligibility Criteria
A student shall be eligible for admissiion into semester I of the BBA., LL.B. 5 year Integrated Course in Laaw if he / she has passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) examination held by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other examination which is recognized by the University as equivalent thereto provided that :
- Such student must have obtained minimum 45 % marks in the aggregate in the qualifying examination; Candidate belonging to scheduled cast, scheduled tribes, other Backward classes (OBC) shall be eligible to apply if they secure at least 40 % marks in the qualifying examination.
2. Such student has not passed any other examination higher than the 10+2 examination mentioned above prior to seeking admission into the course.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit for five-year course is 20 years for general category and 22 years for SC/ST at the time of appearing for SET Exam.

The total intake is 300 seats [Inclusive of 180 seats of B.B.A, LL.B (Hons.) and 120 seats of B.A, LL.B (Hons)]
Separate Merit Lists for B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programmes will be prepared and published. At the time of SET registration, it shall be mandatory for the candidates to clearly indicate the programme to which they wish to apply.
Candidate is free to choose any one or both of the above-mentioned programmes. No request for change of Programme will be entertained at any stage.
