Selection Procedure

Admission will be made strictly based on inter se merit and as per procedures elaborated in the information Brochure issued by Directorate of Technical Education (for A.Y 2021-22: REFER- MHTCET 2020). The applicants should refer to DTE website (“www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in”) for obtaining detailed information about these procedures, rules and regulations. After all the seats are filled in and / or the admission process is over, no claim for admissions shall be entertained on any grounds whatsoever. The last date of admissions declared by the Office of DTE shall be strictly observed. Selection Criteria

All students are required to appear in all subjects of MHT-CET and obtain a non-zero positive score in the exam. Candidates from states other than Maharashtra need to appear in THE JEE Main exam and secure a non-zero positive score in the Paper I of the exam. Most seats of the TSEC will be filled strictly based on the performance of the students in the entrance examination. First preference will be given to the students coming from schools and who have a valid MHT-CET score. Seats will be allotted to students based on their Inter-Se Merit. If seats remain vacant, candidates with a diploma will be offered seats based on their Inter-Se in MHT-CET. If seats still remain vacant, students with Bachelor of Science degrees will be offered seats based on their performance in the CET exam.
