The college Food Court is designed to cater to 1000 students & staff, it is spread over 500 square meters. A college canteen is a place where students congregate to not only eat but exchange views.

The Department of Master of Computer Applications was established in the year 1997 and is the first PG programmed
started in RVCE.
Currently, we offer one PG programmed MCA and Research programmed viz M.Sc by Research and Ph.D. Degree in various specializations of Computer Applications, Affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.
The MCA programmed received academic autonomy in year 2016. Intake of students in the first year is 120 students and 20% intake as lateral entry to 3rd semester.
The MCA programmed is accredited for the Third Time by the National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi till June 2019. Graduates have the distinction of obtaining higher positions in the reputed IT industry.
The faculty is diverse, committed, highly qualified with Doctorates in various specializations.
They deliver quality education to students blended with rich research experience along with classroom teaching.
The faculties are engaged in active research works and projects funded by AICTE, CTS, NRB, and DRDO agencies for Rs 79.21 Lakhs and have ongoing research projects for Rs 29 Lakhs.
