Selection Criteria at Guru Gobind Singh College

Candidates have to appear in the state-level entrance examination MHT-CET.
For admission in the B.Tech course at SGGS Institute of Engineering and Technology, candidates must register in CAP counselling.

The admission will be given based on the merit released by the DTE.
If seats remain vacant after the CAP process, students can apply for B Tech admission under the Institute level quota in SGGSIET. The admission will be granted as per the guidelines set by DTE.

There is diffrrent fees for different category. The fees is around 86000 for open , 65000 for TFWS, 41000 for OBC,NT, 5000 for SC/ST. Placements at Guru Gobind College

From 7th semester final year students are eligible for Campus Placements.Our college placement is good for IT sector but somewhat less in core with average package of 3.5 LPA.Highest Package is of 10 LPA. Number of offers is nearly 400 and number of students placed is nearly 320-350.

Apart from these activities, T&P Dept. also serves as a facilitator for arranging training programs for teaching and non teaching staff members of this institute.
