Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology
The institute has 2800 students & over 260 well-experienced faculty members, fully equipped labs (including project labs), seminar halls (For each department adequately equipped with multimedia facilities). Indoor Games Complex, having facilities for Shuttle Badminton, Table Tennis and other indoor games, a well-equipped Gymnasium. Uninterrupted power supply if offered to the students. Eligibility at Sir MVIT Bangalore Direct Admission
Candidate should have passed second year PUC final examination in optional subjects. The age of the students should be 17 years at the time of admission. Minimum of 45% marks should be scored. SC/ST students should have obtained at least 40% of marks. The students should have passed in the entrance exam conducted by Government of Karnataka. Candidates are also given admission on the basis of Management Quota.

Admission through CET
Authorities of Karnataka conducts entrance test at the month of April every year. 45% of those seats should be fulfilled via CET. Karnataka Conduct entrance test is held only for students of Karnataka.
Students whose rank is less than 5000 can get admission in Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology through K-CET Entrance Exams in RV College of Engineering.
If any student secure seats in K-CET Entrance Exams, then student have to pay very less fees i.e. 60,000.

Admission through COMED-K
COMED-K conducts the entrance exam in the calendar month of May each calendar year. Both equally for Karnataka & Non-Karnataka candidate can apply for COMED-K. 30% of these seats of these entire seats should be fulfilled through COMED-K entrance exam.
If you score less than 5000 ranks, then you will not get admission in Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology through COMED-K entrance exams.
Fees will be very less approx 2 lakhs per annum if you get admission through COMED-K Entrance Exams.

The training and placement cell of Sir MVIT is engaged in developing the students in all skills needed by recruiting companies and placing them in top companies.
