Since 2018, SET – Law test is known as Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT), SET – Engineering as SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SITEEE) and SET – General as SET. These are conducted in Computer Based Test(s) (CBT) mode across various cities of India.
A candidate needs to register for SET/SLAT/SITEEE 2022 & also register for the institutes offering his/ her choice of programmes by paying separate programmes registration fees. If shortlisted, he/she would then need to attend the further admission process conducted by each of these institutes individually.
Candidates are fully and solely responsible to provide correct information during the application process. If it is found that any information provided by the candidate at the time of filling / submitting the application form is not true, SIU has the right to cancel the application or admission, at any stage, in accordance with its rules and regulations. SLAT will be conducted through ‘CBT Mode’. Candidate seeking admission to Symbiosis Law School, Pune (SLS, Pune) should complete the following procedure:
- It is mandatory to appear for SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test) as a precondition for admission to SLS, Pune.
- Candidate must complete the SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test) online registration process.
- Candidate must pay Rs. 1950/- as a SLAT Registration Fees.
- Candidate must complete the SLS, Pune payment Rs. 1000/- per programme (i.e. B.A. LL.B (Hons.) or / and BB.A. LL.B (Hons.)) while filling the SLAT registration form.
- Note: It is mandatory to Register & Pay to both SLAT & SLS Pune. A candidate registered for SLAT and not registered for SLS, Pune by paying above mentioned fees will not be eligible for the next phase of PI-WAT process at SLS, Pune.
Eligibility Criteria (Qualification):

The candidate should have passed XII (10+2) examination from any recognized Board with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for S.C. /S.T. candidates). Students who have appeared for their Standard XII final examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate at the time of the final admission.
