Symbiosis Law School (SLS), Pune
Symbiosis Law School (SLS), Pune, was established in the heart of Pune city in 1977 to create one of the best LLB colleges in Pune. The aim was to deliver world-class law education to discerning students. SLS Pune was previously associated with the University of Pune. However, in 2002, it became a constituent of Symbiosis International University. As a result, it gained more autonomy in teaching, learning, and research. As Symbiosis International University’s flagship campus, SLS Pune has garnered a reputation as one of the best law colleges in Pune.
Symbiosis Law School epitomises quality legal education. It represents the spirit of ‘Symbiosis,’ which means living together for mutual benefit. The India Today Nielsen Survey ranked the institute among India’s top 10 law schools in 2013. The Bar Council of India bestowed the Gold-star Award on it in the same year. The candidate must have passed XII (10+2) examination from any recognized Board with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for S.C./S.T. candidates). Students who have appeared for their Standard XII final examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate at the time of the final admission.

Eligibility Criteria for BBALLB Admission

Applicants who have completed their 10+2 (or 10+3 Diploma approved by State Board of Technical Education) in any discipline, from any recognised Board / Council / University, with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST) aggregate marks, or equivalent grades, are eligible to seek admission.
Applicants expecting their 12th results may also apply. It is incumbent upon them to furnish proof of securing a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST) aggregate marks, or equivalent grades.

ROUND 1 –
In the first round candidates appear for the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET). SET is a common objective, written test held in several cities across India on the first Saturday of May every year. The shortlists for the second round are based on the SET test scores.
SET Application is a two-step process:
Step 1 :
- You may apply on https://www.set-test.org/ and pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1,750/-
Step 2 :
- Choose the option ‘General (SET-General)’ during the ‘ Afternoon session GENERAL/SITEEE’ in the ‘PROGRAMME/DISCIPLINE PREFERENCE’ section.
- Choose the option ‘Symbiosis Centre for Media and Communication – [B.A. (M.C)]’ in the ‘PROGRAMMES UNDER GENERAL; Select Institute(s) you may apply to (General)’ section.
- Select the institute and click the button “Click here to Finalize the amount to be paid” in the ‘Make Payment’ section.
Pay a non-refundable application fee for Rs 1,000/.-
ROUND 2 –
Candidates shortlisted for the Second Round are required to appear for a home-based online Personal Interaction (PI) and Document Verification (DV) process. Individual Video Links for the PI and DV will be shared with candidates.
