Direct Btech Admission in Amrita University Bangalore

Amrita University offers B.Tech program in eight specializations in full-time mode. Admission is offered on the basis of a valid score in Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam (AEEE) followed by counselling for the selected candidates. Minimum eligibility for B.Tech is 10+2 with minimum 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects and minimum 55% marks in the individual subject.

AEEE is a 2 ½ hours paper with 100 MCQs. Each correct answer will fetch three marks while an incorrect response will lead to the deduction of one mark from the total score.

Application Process at Amrita University Direct Btech Admission

AEEE will be conducted in two separate modes viz. Computer Based Test (CBT) and Pen & Paper Mode Test (P&P) and candidates can opt for any of the modes as per their choice.

Application form can be filled online or can be obtained (a printed OMR sheet) from the sale outlets. Follow the given steps to fill the application form:

Online Mode:

Fill the application form and upload the desired documents.
Pay the application fee of INR 1000 by Credit/ Debit Card or through Net-Banking. Application fee can also be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of “Amrita School of Engineering” payable at Coimbatore.
Take the printout of duly filled form and send it to the university address along with the DD.
