Established in 1983, Thadomal Shahani Engineering College (TSEC), founded by Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board, is recognized by Government of Maharashtra, approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Affiliated to University of Mumbai. It offers a 4-year Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) The College offers Ph.D. program in the subject of Information Technology, Computer Engineering, and Electronics & Telecommunication. At present we are enrolled with 40 research Scholars.

TSEC is hugely successful in creating an academic ambience where learners increasingly succeed in unleashing their potential. The college hugely succeeds in placing graduating students in leading enterprises (more than 90 enterprises offer campus placement to our graduates) and facilitating them for higher studies in the Post Graduate program of choice, in India and abroad. The college historically performed to its fullest potential with best of class practises and emerged as the most sought-after engineering college in the city of Mumbai. Established in 1984, Fr.CRCE commenced its journey with a singular program in Production Engineering, initially admitting 60 students. Subsequently, the college expanded its offerings, introducing Electronics Engineering in 1987 and Computer Engineering in 1991, both with an initial intake of 60 students each. In 2001, the institute introduced the Information Technology program with an initial intake of 30 students, later increased to 60 in 2010. The institution has consistently adapted to the evolving technological landscape. Fr.CRCE proudly ventured into postgraduate education, initiating Master’s Degrees in Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering in 2005, each with an intake capacity of 18 students. The commitment to academic excellence further extended to doctoral programs, with Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering doctoral programs commencing in 2014 and 2015, respectively.

As part of its commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements, the college introduced a new undergraduate degree program in Mechanical Engineering in 2019, catering to a cohort of 60 students. The evolution continued as the Electronics Engineering undergraduate program underwent a transformation into Electronics and Computer Science.
