BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE), Bangalore was established by Late Sri. B. M. Sreenivasaiah who was a great philanthropist and visionary in the year 1946 in the green city of India – Bangalore. A college that was started with only 3 undergraduate programmes now after a period of 74 years of completion has an academic department in undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate level programmes. In the engineering colleges ranking 2021 released by the NIRF, the institute has secured 98th rank. There has been decreased in the ranking as BMSCE was ranked 73rd in NIRF Engineering Ranking 2020.
