Admission Process For B.A. LL.B (HONS.) & BB.A LL.B (HONS.) Academic Year 2023-24

· Candidate seeking admission to Symbiosis Law School, Pune (SLS, Pune) should complete the following procedure:

· It is mandatory to appear for SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test) as a precondition for admission to SLS, Pune.

· Candidate must complete the SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test) online registration process.

· Candidate must pay Rs. 1950/- as a SLAT Registration Fees.

· Candidate must complete the SLS, Pune payment Rs. 1000/- per programme (i.e. B.A. LL.B (Hons.) or / and BB.A. LL.B (Hons.)) while filling the SLAT registration form.

Note: It is mandatory to Register & Pay to both SLAT & SLS Pune. A candidate registered for SLAT and not registered for SLS, Pune by paying above mentioned fees will not be eligible for the next phase of PI-WAT process at SLS, Pune.

Eligibility

Qualification:

The candidate should have passed XII (10+2) examination from any recognized Board with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for S.C. /S.T. candidates). Students who have appeared for their Standard XII final examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate at the time of the final admission.

INTAKE:

The total intake is 300 seats [inclusive of 180 seats of BB.A. LL.B (Hons.) and 120 seats of B.A. LL.B (Hons.)].

Separate Merit Lists for BB.A. LL.B (Hons.) and B.A. LL.B (Hons.) programme will be prepared and published. At the time of SLAT registration, it shall be mandatory for the candidates to clearly indicate the programme to which they wish to apply. A candidate is free to choose BOTH or ANY ONE programme.

SLS Hyderabad Admission Process 2024

It is a constituent of Symbiosis International Deemed to be a University (SIU). SIU is approved by UGC and is re-accredited with an “A” grade by NAAC. Final Merit list shall be drawn on the basis of SLAT Score (50%) and PI-WAT performance (50%). In other words, it will be based on the cumulative marks scored on the scale of 100 marks wherein SLAT score will be scaled down to 50 marks i.e. 50% weightage and the remaining 50% weightage will be assigned as follows: Personal Interaction (PI) – 30 marks i.e. 30% and Written Ability Test (WAT) – 20 marks i.e. 20%.

For seeking admission to the Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA applicants should adopt and complete the following procedure:

The applicant must register online for Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) Examination, 2017.

Selection Procedure for BBA LLB at Symbiosis Law School

Candidates will be shortlisted based on the SET score.

The short-listed candidates will be invited for Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT) at the college campus.

NOTE: Final Merit list shall be drawn on the basis of SET Score (50%) and PI-WAT performance (50%). In other words, it will be based on the cumulative marks scored on the scale of 100 marks wherein the SET score will be scaled down to 50 marks i.e. 50% weightage and the remaining 50% weight-age will be assigned as follows: Personal Interaction (PI) – 30 marks i.e. 30% and Written Ability Test (WAT) – 20 marks i.e. 20%.

Eligibility for BBA LLB at Symbiosis Law School

The candidate should have passed the 12th (10+2) standard examination from any government-recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for S.C. / S.T. students). Students who have appeared for their H.S.C finals and awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of a passing certificate by the notified date.

Applicants who have obtained 10+2 through the Open Universities system directly without having any basic qualification are not eligible for the Law Course.

Eligibility Criteria for SLS Pune

For BA L.L.B. / B.B.A. L.L.B. Programmes:

The candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination from any recognized Board with minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST candidates). Students who have appeared for their Standard XII final examination and waiting for the result are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate at the time of the final admission,

The candidate should be a graduate from any recognized University with minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST students) in one attempt (no compartment). Students who have appeared for their final year degree examination and awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate by the announced date

For L.L.M. Programmes:

Candidates should have a 3 or 5 years LL.B. degree from any Indian or Foreign University recognized by the UGC with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% for SC/ ST candidates)

Candidates will be shortlisted for PI-WAT on the basis of the SET score. The shortlisted candidates will be invited for Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT)

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the All India Admission Test (AIAT) conducted by the institute

Age Limit for Law Courses

The maximum age limit for five-year course is 20 years for the general category and 22 years for SC/ST at the time of appearing for SLAT.
