About Sinhgad Law College Pune
Sinhgad Institute was established in 1993 in Pune by Prof. M. N. Navale, with a vision to impart quality education in the field of Higher Learning & Technical Education. Sinhgad Law College, Pune was started in the year 2003 and is recognized by the Government of Maharashtra, and belongs to the University of Pune. It is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Sinhgad college has been offering two bachelor-level courses along with PG courses and diploma courses. The application process is conducted offline, and the essential criteria for admission will be merit-based and entrance exams. It is situated on the beautiful campus of Ambegaon (Budruk) and is housed within a 2 storied spacious building surrounded by picturesque gardens and a well-developed playground. Sinhgad Law College has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a “B” Grade.
The college offers 2 graduation programs – 3 years LL.B. course and 5 years B.A.LL.B./ B.S.L.LL.B. Course, Short term Diploma courses viz – Diploma in Labour Laws and Labour Welfare, Diploma in Taxation Laws and Certificate Course in Forensic and Medical Jurisprudence are also offered to students. Selection in combined UG and LLB programs is based on the results of the MH-CET Law. The Government of Maharashtra administers the state-level entrance test known as MH-CET legislation. A passing grade in the 12th grade or an equivalent in any subject with a least 45 percent score is required for admission to the BA LLB/ BSL LLB at SINHGAD LAW COLLEGE. A graduation degree in any discipline with a passing grade point average of 45 percent is required for an LLB.
