INTRODUCTION
Candidates aspiring to join B.A LL.B. / B.B.A LL.B offered by Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA, constituent of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) have to take the common, mandatory online ‘Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT)’. APPLICATION PROCEDURE
A candidate needs to register for SLAT & also register for Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA offering his/ her choice of programmes by paying separate programmes registration fees. SELECTION PROCEDURE
Selection is done in two phases:
- Candidates will be short listed on the basis of the SLAT score.
- The short listed candidates will be invited for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) which will take place in Online Mode.
Final Merit list shall be drawn on the basis of SLAT Score (50%) and PI-WAT performance (50%). In other words, it will be based on the cumulative marks scored on the scale of 100 marks wherein SLAT score will be scaled down to 50 marks i.e. 50% weightage and the remaining 50% weightage will be assigned as follows: Personal Interaction (PI) – 30 marks i.e. 30% and Written Ability Test (WAT) – 20 marks i.e. 20%. ELIGIBILITY
The candidate should have passed 12th (10+2) standard examination from any government-recognized board with minimum 45% marks (40% for S.C. / S.T. students). Students who have appeared for their H.S.C finals and awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate by the notified date.
Intake:
The total intake is 300 seats, which includes 180 seats for BBA.LL.B. and 120 seats for BA.LL.B.

Symbiosis International University’s mission is: ‘Fostering spirit of national development’, ‘instilling sensitivity amongst the youth towards the community’, ‘contributing towards knowledge generation and dissemination’, and ‘promoting ethical and value-based learning’. The Legal Aid Centre at Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA was established with the aim and objective to serve legal aid, through human resource, knowledge resource, & infrastructural resource, to those who need it the most, purely on pro-bono basis’. It is a blend of legal duty (as laid down under Rule 31 of Bar Council of India’s Rules of Legal Education, and Rule 11 of Schedule III of the said ‘Rules’) of the Law School along with the overarching mission of the Symbiosis International (Deemed) University.
The Legal Aid Centre strives to: do its utmost to help people access their rights under Articles 21 and 39A; engender sensitivity and empathy, not sympathy and pity; help the silenced find their voice, not speak for them, and recognize their agency; raise awareness of the intersectionality of legal rights abuses; and work with communities and NGOs at the grassroots level to effect substantive change.
