This entrance exam is a gateway to obtain an engineering seat through the Government quota. The CET conducts examination in four subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. Candidates who wish to seek admission in engineering courses appear for the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics exams. The Karnataka Private Medical & Dental Colleges Association namely “Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka”, COMEDK also conducts entrance examinations for all students irrespective of state. How to Apply for CMRUAT 2018:( Direct Admission at CMR University Bangalore)
- Candidates will be required first to register online in order to take the CMRUAT 2017.
- A valid e-mail and mobile number is mandatory for the registration. CMRU will send important information with regard to your application and test on this registered e-mail and mobile number. This e-mail and mobile number should be kept active till the end of admission process.
- After receiving Login ID and Password, candidates will not be able to edit the information provided at the time of registration. Candidates are hence requested to fill in the registration form with utmost care. Direct Admission at CMR University Bangalore
- After registration, candidates will be required to fill up the online application form for writing the CMRUAT 2017 and submit the same.
- Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 750/- (Rupees seven hundred and fifty only) for writing the test. The payment can be made online (Credit card/ Debit card/ Net banking) or offline. Direct Admission at CMR University Bangalore
- Those candidates who are applying for offline payment will have to send a Demand Draft for Rs. 750/- drawn in favour of CMR University payable at Bangalore along with the application form downloaded after registration.

- Before proceeding to fill up the Online Application, candidates should have scanned image (jpg) of their (a) Passport size photograph (size not more than 80 KB) (b) Signature (size not more than 80 KB) and (c) Demand Draft (in case of offline payment of the application fee) for Rs. 750/- in a CD/DVD/pen drive as per their convenience. These documents will be required for uploading the online application for CMRUAT 2016.
- A candidate who opts for offline payment shall send the printout of the application form duly signed alongwith the DD for Rs.750/- as above through speed post/courier to the address listed below.
- Candidates will be intimated about the allotment of test city, centre details and date of test by email & through SMS, 4 days in advance to print the admission hall ticket and appear in the test.
- After CMRUAT, selected candidates will be invited for personal counselling. The selection of candidates will be made in accordance with the CMRU regulations prevailing at the time of admission, and the selection process will be based on academic merit and aptitude of the prospective candidate.
- Successful candidates will be required to accept the admission offer immediately.
- College fee of Rs 25000/- will be charged during admissions. This fee will include payment towards ID Card, high-speed Wi-Fi / Internet, Soft Skills Training, Value-added programmes, Pre-Placement and Placement Training, Students Kit, Alumni Membership Fee, etc.
- Please note that the management reserves the right of admission and allotment of the branch. Once a candidate has been admitted to a particular course, any request for refund of fees will not be entertained.
- Once the seat has been confirmed, candidates may fill out the application form and submit it along with the documents specified below.
